Who are we?
As our new Problem Manager you will report to our Operations Support Manager. You will be part of the Group Problem Management team.
In Operations Support, we are responsible for defining and implementing the ITIL core processes in our Pan Nordic operations.
As a problem management functional unit, we take this a step further, and are day to day responsible of facilitating, reviewing and deliver management reporting of the progress around problem management in GlobalConnect.
With GlobalConnect being present in both Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany and with employees from many nationalities you will be working in a multi-national environment where we will make you feel welcome and be fully engaged in your successful transitioning into your new role and our company.
Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for establishing and executing on the following responsibilities:
Who are we looking for?
You could have several different paths towards this position, but you will probably have experience as problem manager or a similar role in a complex technical organization.
You are well structured in your work methods and is on top of things when several parallel tasks are being processed on.
In your daily work, you are self-driven, and it is your nature to seek solutions and answers on your own, and navigating around in the organization to find the right persons, that can bring the solution.
You have excellent communication skills both talking technical issues with the engineers, but also when descripting identified problems to the management in presentations and reporting.
We expect that you have great knowledge within the core ITIL process frame, and it is a plus if you certified in ITIL v.4 foundation.
As GlobalConnect is using ServiceNow as ITSM, it would preferable if you have been working with ServiceNow before.

- Problem Management process owner, together with your colleague in the problem management team.
- Regional Responsible for the daily Problem Handling in Sweden, and IT on group level
- Facilitate problem investigation and continuous improvement initiatives, in close cooperation with the team and stakeholders in the organization
- Reporting on problem related topics to teams and management.
- Chair problem board meeting on regional and group level.
- Drive ad hoc improvement or RCA taskforces
