Infrastructure Services Specialist

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferably with 1- 2 years experience specializing in technical troubleshooting and support.
• Have experience working with Enterprise Monitoring Systems.
• Knowledgeable in monitoring systems such as SCOM, PRTG, Zabbix, etc. (is an advantage).
• Must have basic experience in handling Windows & Linux Servers, Network Devices, and Backup Software is a plus.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules.
• Good English communication skills.

*** Experienced IT Specialist / Desktop Support / Technical Support Roles with a minimum of 2 years will be considered and will be trained for the role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors and responds to alerts emerging from monitoring systems (SCOM, SysOrb, PRTG, Zabbix, Rapid7, etc.).
• Creates cases on alerts and escalates to the Infrastructure Department.
• Troubleshoots and resolves alerts and escalates cases if needed
• Handle cases that should be responded to and resolved within SLA.
• Coordinate with clients and departments involved in critical cases.
• Manual server patching on critical servers.
• Checking and cleanup of active alerts assigned to the team.
• Acknowledge email and chat communications from other departments and cascades to the team.
