Take the lead on automation engineering activities and empower your team

We are looking for the next Senior Automation Manager of our automation team to lead the efforts of a complete transfer from SCADA to our new platform – and that’s just one of the many interesting challenges that lies ahead in the intersection between 50% daily support and 50% project execution.

You will refer directly to Senior Production Director for the Manufacturing Support Department consisting of 80 passionate colleagues. Your team consists of 10 highly skilled automation engineers with the mission to deliver support across the entire production at site Hørsholm.

Your overall responsibility will be to design strategies within your area of expertise and linking the strategy to daily work. You will be responsible for continuous efficiency improvements and optimization of processes with focus on quality, cost and regulatory compliance.

In the near future, ALK will be on a journey in optimizing technologies in the production and being a part of this transformation from the beginning, you will have great opportunities to leave your mark.

About you

Your educational background with a master’s degree within automation engineering or related fields such as mechanical or electrical engineering is de facto not as important as your 3+ years of experience with leading Automation Engineering in a GMP regulated environment.

As it is an exciting challenge reaching across many internal stakeholders you should thrive in communicating freely and frequently when aligning expectation across departments.

• +3 years of leadership experience demonstrating excellent people management skills
• Experience with GxP and Pharma industry
• A proactive, problem-solving listener with the ability to set the course of action
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Speak and write English professionally
