Can you convert market strategies into local activation plans for the Over The Counter (OTC) products in the Pet Health Care (PHC) unit?

As Market Manager Nordics at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, you will be responsible for the PHC unit that takes care of OTC business and Accounts where you will be leading the Nordic sales team. You will be responsible for the development of the team as for selected wholesalers in Sweden and Denmark.
The responsibility for the PHC unit includes agreements with Pharmacy and Pet Shop chains, leading the Nordic sales team, and the delivery of point-of-sale activation initiatives for all PHC brands, in line with the brand’s strategy. You will be responsible for all Nordic channels and their e-commerce, in collaboration with the Danish Brand Manager, and prepare all activation/brand plans.
With direct report to Business Unit Manager Pet, Animal Health Nordics.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications are a minimum of 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Advertising, and Sales from the Pharmacy segment on a Nordic level. You have experience in developing brand activations and interacting with field force teams, such as in pharma, mass markets, or animal health-specific channels. You are fluent in Danish, written and spoken, and possess good communicative skills in the English language. Knowledge of the Swedish and/or Norwegian language is an advantage.
You have a Graduate Diploma or a Master’s Degree in either, Business Economics, Business Management, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, and/or related fields of study.
You are a person with a strategic and commercial mindset, who possess strong organizational skills and business acumen. You have strong presentation and negotiation skills, are a natural salesman and are a great leader for the ones in direct management and all people around you. You are excellent at motivating and engaging people regardless of function, and you make room for both the people and the business. You are a team player, but you also appreciate working individually.

- Create brand activation campaigns in collaboration with Brand Management and Sales team and analyze the performance of each initiative
- Drive and assist the field-based colleagues in ensuring activations are effectively planned and executed
- Identification of opportunities to potentiate visibility and sales in all channels and ensure upfront alignment with the sales team
- Analyze competitors’ activations in collaboration with the sales team across different channels and develop field strategies and initiatives
- Conduct data and statistical analysis to evaluate the current market trends
- Price setting in Scandinavian markets
- Develop reports and tools for pharmacies and pet shops for educational use
