We are looking for a trade controller to join one of the biggest international shipping companies worldwide. You will be a part of the Trade Control and Settlements Team, located in Copenhagen. The employment is for 6 months, but with very good opportunities for extension.
Focus on innovation and setting new industry standards
The company is focused on creating sustainable solutions, which will benefit both their costumers and society.
Your team will be responsible for supplying marine fuel. Overall, you will take care of the whole process around the trading - from handling inquiries and making deals with stakeholders, to deliveries and payment.
You will also be a part of different strategic and regulatory projects, to keep optimizing the workflow.
Who are we looking for?
This is the right position for you if you are structured and good with large amounts of data. You will be the link between the company and their stakeholders - therefore, you have to be service minded and comfortable with working in an international environment.

You will be a part of the whole process around trading the company's marine fuel. That is why, previous knowledge with commodity trading or relevant back-office operations are important. Below are some of the key tasks, that your team will drive and be focused on:
Flexible working hours:
You and your team will work in close corporation with the company's US department. We are looking for someone who can work from 08:00-16:00 on weekdays.

- Experience from the shipping industry
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Familiar with Allegro, OpenLink, ShipTech, Unit4 and SAP
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Excel

- Trade and exchanging (review and tracking)
- Handling AP and AR invoices

- Optimizing work processes
- Collaboration and daily communication with stakeholders

- Startup ASAP and for 6 months
- Good opportunities for extension
- Payment after qualifications
- Location in Copenhagen
