Product & Process Developer
Are you passionate about bringing high-quality seafood products to the market and, are you looking for a job where you combine theoretical know-how of food technology with hands-on product development?

As Product & Process Developer, you will lead both short- and longer-term projects and be responsible for process development, valorisation of by-products, hands-on product testing, data collection and documentation from testing of the first idea to the final implementation.
You will be maturing ideas both technically and commercially and you will be leading projects with commercial potential and strategic value to Royal Greenland. You also have to keep up to date with the latest technology and market trends and incorporate it into your work.
Moreover, you will be part of a team of 7 colleagues in the office in Denmark, one of whom is in Greenland. In addition, you will work with project management and the implementation of processes in the innovation department.

Your main responsibilities and tasks are:
Your qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of experience with process technology and the various phases of product development, preferably from the food industry. In addition, you are used to working with innovation, product development, and project management.
It is an advantage if you understand food chemistry and have experience with processes from the seafood industry. It is also beneficial if you have experience with sensor technology, and data processing and is good at stakeholder management, as several external partners will become a natural part of the innovation process.
Preferably you have an education at either a bachelor’s or master’s level in Sustainable Fisheries, Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Food Innovation and Health, Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar. In addition, knowledge about the seafood- or food industries is an advantage.
As a person, you possess strong communication skills and are proactive. Moreover, you are outgoing, energetic, and passionate about creating momentum. You also have strong collaboration skills and are a team player. Furthermore, you are good at prioritising structure and meeting deadlines.
Royal Greenland offers a position where you will become part of a dedicated and ambitious team and experience a steep learning curve. You will also be able to develop your skills within communication, innovation, and creativity, etc.
Travelling: Approx. 30 travel days to the product departments in Germany and Greenland, as well as conferences and various sales offices.

- Product development of main seafood categories
- Testing new innovative solutions
- Process implementation
- Project management and handling of many different stakeholders
