Do you want to try yourself at the part of the HR profession called onboarding and reboarding? Do you find it interesting to have a central role in the first part of the employee journey?
One of your most important tasks as an intern at People and Culture will be to help the team with hosting onboarding and reboarding event. We hope to find a candidate who is genuinely interested in interacting with people and communicate about Normals company culture. Based on your experience, knowledge and interest we will offer you other tasks, that fits your profile.
As we are looking for the right person, it is also important for us to point out that the educational background you bring can be of many different types. However, you should be able to link your education to HR tasks, so that this internship will help you as much as it will help us. We are convinced that you would not get bored in our department, and we can guarantee an everyday life that is never the same, and where the path from idea to action is very short.
About the position:
In collaboration with the rest of the department you will plan and host onboarding events for new employees on a weekly basis. Besides that we are moving to our new logistics center in Hedensted later this year, and therefore we will also start hosting weekly reboarding events for all our current employees as they need to start working at the new location. We want to hire someone who has the desire and courage to take part in learning videos, where we present information, rules and other things in an alternative and fun way.
Examples on work-tasks:
About you:
You must be undertaking a higher education that is relevant to the internship, which will typically last around 4-5 months. It is not a requirement, that you have experience working professionally with onboarding or in general HR assignments, but you must want to learn it. Being openminded and having a desire to give people a good experience is crucial.
We have around 43 different nationalities in our fantastic warehouse, which means, that we speak English in our daily life, and we expect that you can and will too.
The practical:
We expect our new intern to start around 1st of September. The internship is unpaid with 37 hours per week. You will of course have time to write any assignments along the way, which we are also happy to contribute to. The lunch scheme is at our expense, so you don't have to think about a packed lunch.
Because we are in the process of transitioning to our new warehouse in Hedensted, we would like you to have a car available during the 4-5 months, so that you are able to transport yourself to work both in our current warehouse north of Horsens and to the new one in Hedensted.
Contact and application:
We want the position to be filled as soon as possible. We hold interviews on an ongoing basis and select an intern when we have found the right candidate.
