Are you passionate about making a difference for people and the business they run? Are people, organizational design, annual cycle activities, engagement, and business partnering among the keywords you are usually drawn to? Then please keep reading because we are looking for a People Partner!
People & Culture plays an important role in developing our organization with the right capabilities and strong engagement. You will join a dedicated team with a passion for people, culture, and communication.
Of course, our passion for people also shines through in our interactions with each other. As a team we value deep diving into our tasks at least as much as we like a good laugh. So just as well as you can expect a high degree of knowledge sharing and seriousness when discussing topics within our field, you can also expect a down-to-earth environment where we are not shy of sharing fun stories and having good laughs over the desks.
As our new colleague, you will support our leaders in Product, Innovation & Procurement as well as Commercial Nordic - our Scandinavian sales organization covering our stores and professional sales in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. You will work mostly out of DK, but also across borders with colleagues in Sweden, Norway, and Poland.
You will report to Head of Nordic People Partnering & Talent – whose leadership style is very much characterized by trust, encouragement, and open communication.
• Developing and driving P&C activities relevant to the business: Recruitment, pre-, on- and offboarding, coaching and problem-solving, succession planning, employee engagement, annual P&C cycle activities as well as strategic projects.
• Analysing key data points, such as sick leave, salary percentage and turnover, and translating it into key initiatives that can be implemented in the business.
• Handling daily administrative tasks and maintaining internal databases and guidelines.
• Supervising compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and collective agreements.
• Advising leaders in handling guidelines and procedures, and providing support in personnel matters regarding recruitment, redundancies, salary negotiations, sick leave etc. as well as being their go-to sparring partner on all things people-related.
• Give business requirements to the digital Flügger Academy (own content on behalf of business) and support execution & implementation.
• Periodically leading or contributing to selected projects in P&C.
Like the rest of the P&C team, you have a passion for people and setting them up for success. You’re the kind of P&C person who loves the business side of things, and you’re obsessed with creating real value. You have most likely worked in a Nordic setting and are familiar with Swedish and/or Norwegian labour law and regulations. You navigate comfortably in an HR annual wheel and know where to begin when it comes to things like performance reviews, salary regulations and employee engagement tools. You’re experienced enough to work comfortably on your own as you support leaders of all levels and engage stakeholders throughout the organization. You’re also experienced enough to know that the People Partner role is a complex one, and you navigate well in the constant mix of abstract assignments and practical day-to-day tasks.
Personally, you are curious, open, and focused. You most likely have no problem entering new teams because you build relationships quickly, read organizations well and build trust naturally. You prefer to be involved in many projects, with many people and on many levels – both strategic initiatives demanding conceptual skills and operational day-to-day challenges.
As a People Partner in Flügger you’ll have an important impact on an organization with a proud heritage and a clear vision. We have an informal and creative culture where you will experience a great level of autonomy, openness, professionalism, and opportunities to grow.
Although Flügger is a company with deep roots, we are not afraid of new perspectives and ideas – in fact, we are eager to hear yours!
Did we make you curious? We hope so!
