TEAM SPIRIT
We are a fan of individuals with character, who also understands working in teams with good energy and lots of team spirit. As a Design Assistant at hummel A/S you will be part of a dynamic team of 4 designers, driven by a high energy level and the desire to play each other strong in the process. We work with a high degree of freedom with responsibility in a flat organizational structure and we have an informal and performance oriented work environment.

THE JOB
You will assist the design team, primarily with a focus on our club and license business. You will create sketches in Illustrator, create tech packs and assist the team in the style creation.
A natural flair for colours and ability to convert trends from both sport and fashion into sport products – is essential. It is also beneficial if you have graphic design skills and knowledge of graphic functionality of fabrics and prints.
You will operate in close cooperation with an experienced design and product team, professional suppliers and a strong marketing and sales team.
You will refer to the Club license development manager and work and evolve together with your team of dedicated sport colleagues.

Who are you?

  • You are recently graduated from a design school or you have a few years of experience as design assistant.
  • You have strong Adobe Illustrator skills and know how to work in MS Office (Navision, Delogue)
  • You are experienced in creating technical drawings and tech packs
  • You have a passion for sporty trends and a flair for commerciality of designs, choice of materials and color combinations
  • You are structured and organized and understand the importance of meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated, ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities and develop within our team and hummel
  • You are known for being open minded, positive, flexible and a true team player with passion for a job well done
  • Fluent in English, written as well as spoken
