Do you have the drive and the skills to coordinate and take the lead in ensuring technical documentation for future turbines are delivered in the right time and quality? We are looking for a skilled Documentation Specialist to join our Technical Documentation department within the Technology organisation.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be responsible for coordinating and driving the Construction Documentation team within the department, delivering technical manuals for future turbine types. You will develop and maintain a documentation overview to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical manuals to both customers as well as operating technicians.
You will also be responsible for:
Perform technical writing tasks, develop and maintain technical manuals (work instructions and inspection forms) Initiate the review, approval and publishing processes (document control) in our DMS system Take the lead on ensuring that all customer contracts are reviewed by the necessary SMEs in the Technical Documentation department Take the lead on ensuring that all relevant business processes for the Construction Documentation area are drafted, reviewed, approved and published for implementation in the business Secure that all tasks are handled in time in the Construction Documentation team, by ensuring a high KPI performance on task assignments and executions Establish and maintain a close cooperation with stakeholders to ensure that all requirements for technical manuals can be met in time and quality

…has some years of experience within technical writing combined with good technical knowledge of WTGs (Wind Turbine Generators). To succeed in this role, it is important that you have both good stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to create strong relationships but also to collect input from relevant colleagues in the organisation and transform these into exact and easily understood technical manuals.
We expect that you:
Have an organised and structured work style combined with good planning skills You enjoy coordinating and taking the lead Are self-motivated and thrive in a highly dynamic organisation with tight deadlines and diverse interfaces Hold a degree within engineering, journalism or communication Are fluent in spoken and written English Are preferably an experienced user of PTC Windchill and PTC Arbortext (or similar XML editor)
