Finance Group Finance Power Solutions Costing
VPS Group Costing, a department under Vestas Group Finance, is responsible for ensuring objective and transparent support for decision makers by delivering financial reporting and analysis on supply chain costs to relevant stakeholders in the business and senior management.
This includes a strict control of product costs within manufacturing and procurement by creating transparent and reliable cost estimates for analysis and decision purposes while keeping stakeholders accountable for target gaps and follow-up.

Finance Group Finance Power Solutions Costing

Responsibilities
- Combining work with stakeholders as a business partner with the capability to work in a structured manner with cost tracking and validation
- Financial controlling of product costs and improving inherent procedures and guidelines
- Creating transparent product cost structure to support cost tracking, cost analysis and reporting
- Enabling cross-functional business improvement projects
- Preparing, monitoring and controlling of cost estimates
- Financial analysis within financial accounts including variance reports, root cause counter measures, opportunity analysis, business cases and compliance
Qualifications
- Relevant Master's degree in Finance, or Engineering with a financial mindset
- Experience working in Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing or Procurement. Recently graduated candidates with a curious mindset and eager to learn and develop will be considered as well
- Understanding of the product cost structure and knowledge or hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, sourcing and costing
- Experience in Excel, Power Point and BI tools - experience in SAP, SAP BI suite is perceived a benefit, but not a prerequisite if you have great IT and System Skills

- Detail-oriented and able to work with different stakeholders in a global environment to build commitment and trustworthy relationships both service-minded and result-oriented
- Capable to comprehend complex solutions coupled with a strong analytical, structured & fact-based approach based on significant systems to support this
- Team and quality-oriented with significant analytical skills
- Proactive and able to coordinate multiple tasks with varying timelines & priorities and validate own data results
