Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Executive assistant (EA) for APM Terminals Nordics to help us succeed in implementing our future strategic agenda. This position offers the possibility to work closely with the whole Nordic management team, and specifically our Managing Director.
APM Terminals Nordics is growing and are in a process of change and transformation. We are looking for an EA that can ensure that the MD and Nordic Management team are as productive and effective as possible.
Main tasks
- Supporting the MD with reports on on-going projects, strategy and analysis
- Writing reports, summaries and abstracts of reports
- Make financial and economic analysis
- Being another set of eyes and ears in the organisation
- Driving own projects and participate in projects and meetings
- Responsible for the management of the Office Manager in Gothenburg
- Maintains the MD’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meeting , conferences, teleconferences and travels
- Travel Expense Management and travel coordination
- Improving internal communications and alignment
- Ensure meetings begin on time with prep material delivered in advance
Assistance to the Nordic Management Team NMT
- Supporting the team with priorities and relevant business information
- Confidential sparring on deliverables
General Office services
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Acting as the administrative point of contact between the executives and internal/external stakeholders
- Responsible for the office management in Aarhus
You will be based in Aarhus, but your area of responsibility will cover Aarhus, Kalundborg and Gothenburg Terminals, therefore some travel will be expected. You will report to the Managing Director.
About you
To succeed in this position, we believe that you have 3-5 years of experience in finance or logistics preferable within a larger international organisation. You are ambitious and able to put in the effort needed when there are a lot of ends to tie. You also need to be able to have a dialogue with people at all levels in the organization, from line managers, project managers to senior management.
Furthermore, we think that you
- Hold a master’s degree within economics.
- Have 3-5 years working experience maybe as project manager in a complex organisation.
- Can make all sorts of analysis and communicate the findings into short concise summaries and decision papers.
- That you drive and take ownership and responsibility of challenging tasks.
