The role as Program Specialist offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our Aid & Relief team. You will be responsible for finding ways to improve our processes, align expectations with our clients and strive for operational excellence all along developing your customer(s) and colleagues.

The position will be located in Aarhus, but for the right candidate a remote setup could be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

In the Aid & Relief team you will be a important part of a team of 35 experienced colleagues. You will be part of the management team along with two other Program Specialist and three Operations Mangers.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Provide oversight to the customer and internal stakeholders of the operational performance and progress in the operational priorities of the customer’s services with Maersk.
  • Explore new business opportunities and ways to improve the SCM setup for our customers.
  • Establish, synchronize and execute on the customer roadmap along with the customer and the respective Key Client Manager. All based on the customer requirement and needs.
  • Collaborate and support with each CX team to assure desired performance and service level. Become an ‘Operational Excellence’ ambassador and encourages operational staff to apply best practices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with our customer on priorities and performance to ensure internal performance is reflected in customer satisfaction.
  • Assess and agree with the customer on improvement opportunities and quantify the value of those.
  • Lead improvement and corrective projects and ensure the learnings are captured and distributed in Maersk.
  • Lead the implementation of new customer businesses for Maersk.

  • Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others.

  • Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written in English.

  • Ability to travel approx. 5-10 days a year
