We are looking to recruit a General Administrator, mainly based in our Long Bennington office, the position is flexible with occasional working from home.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a long-term commitment to the company and to our commitment of working for smarter libraries.
The Role:
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for phone calls and emails, so a strong focus on customer service is essential. Our Customer Records are maintained in a cloud-based solution and along with the Office Manager, you will be responsible for raising new customer profiles, editing those profiles to keep them up to date and also for logging support calls coming into the office. Part of the role is also to support the Customer Services Manager with processing of incoming orders.
One of the main responsibilities of the role is to efficiently manage maintenance contracts, sending quotes and processing invoices, maintaining these records to maximise the revenue from this source.
Day to day responsibility for Health and Safety and GDPR matters also falls within the remit so experience in these matters would be an advantage.
Lastly, we expect the role to develop over time to include some bookkeeping.
This client-facing role requires an experienced individual who can demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence, and the flexibility to manage the needs of our clients. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role, along with teamwork and adaptability.
To succeed you need to demonstrate:
The ideal candidate will be multi skilled having experience in administration and basic bookkeeping skills. A good level of IT and computer skills are also essential. You must also be a motivated team player with a commitment to deliver outstanding customer service & support.
Other desirable attributes include:
You must have a current driving licence and be prepared to have a DBS check.
Salary £19k - £21k (Dependent on experience)
