The position As Data Business Partner your key responsibility is to enable value generation from data by fostering the creation and further development of a data-driven culture. You will need to proactively identify and understand the challenges of the business and translate it into concrete actions. This includes both operational and strategic tasks. You will work in a cross functional role spanning across all of CMC development and work closely together with our data office and potentially organisations outside CMC (Digital Science & Innovation, Development, Product Supply, Global IT). You will have the exciting opportunity to impact the full value chain for an important data perspective. Your primary responsibility will be to: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Line of Business data governance organisation, data & analytics key stakeholders, key business executives, and other stakeholders Ensure alignment with relevant areas in Novo Nordisk to ensure use of enterprise capabilities and readiness for data-related solution development To succeed in this position, it is important to build a comprehensive understanding of the entire department's data processes, in depth cross-functional knowledge and ensure close alignment with your stakeholders to facilitate a data-driven change. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Qualifications You have a M.Sc. within Computer, Data or Information Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience. Experience in Pharma and knowledge of regulatory compliance matters are also preferred. You have +2-4 years of experience within Strategy Management, Data Management or Project Management. Ideally, you come from a strategy/management consultancy or an industrial company (life sciences/pharma would be an advantage). Furthermore, the optimal candidate has: Excellent business acumen and ability to bridge the languages used by business and IT stakeholders in an international environment Practical experience with capturing and documenting Data Models working with Enterprise Information models is an advantage. Proven data literacy and the ability to describe business outcomes Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities Fluency in English (Oral and written) is a prerequisite As a person you have a “can do” mindset as you are required to try out new setups and solutions. You are known for an easy approach and a great collaborator. You are quickly to build an oversight of a complex data landscape and able to connect to dots to form a view that is simple to communicate. You maintain a fine balance in your communication style between listen, ask or lead to make sure things are kept in motion. About the department You will be a part of CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control) which is the organisation that ties research and manufacturing together. The position is anchored in the department CMC Digitalisation, whose key mission is to execute strategic initiatives across CMC Development in the areas of Data Engineering, Demand & Supply, Business Intelligence, Digital training, IT Security, and IT Strategy in partnership with line of business. You will join a diverse and international team consisting of 29 colleagues (soon to be many more!) with different backgrounds and expertise areas, but with a shared passion for digital transformation. Our daily work language is English, where we use our differences and innovative mindsets in self-organising business focus groups applying agile principles in our daily work.
