We are increasing our maturity in Global IT Operations and are investing in digital solutions in all areas. As a part of this, we are ramping up on our financial services within Hardware Management. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for budget planning, tracking, IT investments and invoice management, making sure we work in an efficient and transparent manner. This opportunity offers an exciting chance to work with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk supporting the company growth and expansion journey we are currently on. The position In Cloud and Corporate infrastructure, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to support our expansion project ensuring connectivity (network/wifi) to the many new sites currently being built globally. You will keep track of the project’s budget and ensure the right approvals and overall governance. You will keep track of income and outcome pr project, follow-up on actual project costs and identify and communicate early warnings as well as financial risks, buy-up and buy-down options as well as other relevant analyses and forecasts in collaboration with Product Owners’s and Finance. You will have the overall responsibility for invoice management incl. invoice tracking and payments. You will also manage the budget of our Hardware (HW) Life-Cycle-Management team incl. handling larger Purchase Order creation, updating of accrual and ensuring clarity on variance and variance explanations. You play a key part as the local financial advisor, assisting in the onboarding of new team members and upskilling current colleagues on financial management, establishing and maintaining communication with important stakeholders and ensuring high quality governance as well and drive reporting, i.e. monthly executive summaries. The position is newly established; hence you are expected to define the role and come up with suggestions for improvement of our current processes and tools. In the role you will: Recommend changes and improvements for approval in own area Initiate process improvements, tasks managements and activities on own initiative Ensure problem solving through knowledge sharing with colleges and sparring with vendors Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions accordingly Address and negotiate (within assigned budget) with vendors and service owners independently in order to ensure targets are met Your qualifications As a minimum you have a relevant bachelor’s degree within the finance area with at least a couple of year’ experience, full time or part time, in a financial position. You have preferably worked within IT and you are familiar with budgeting, project planning, asset management and invoice management. You are also familiar with financial tools such as PowerBI and Excel. You are not afraid to take initiative, being innovative and you strive for simplicity and quality. It is important you are good at structuring your daily tasks and projects and that you are motivated by optimisation. You enjoy collaborating across teams in an independent and clear manner. Part of Global IT Operations (GITO) - an area with 200+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services. The Corporate Infrastructure department is a team of highly skilled and dedicated employees responsible for the network architecture, operations and future development of the network in Novo Nordisk.
