The Position As Director of Culture, Engagement and Performance you will lead a team in our Novo Nordisk Way and Facilitation Centre of Excellence (CoE). One of the key topics will be leading the design and execution of our global Employee Listening Strategy, keeping the pulse of the organisation and bringing vital insights to inform leadership decisions and people strategies. You will shape the global policies and guidelines for Performance Management and Flexible Working, providing processes, tools and communications for a global audience of people leaders. You will advise and support leaders and P&O colleagues in embedding Novo Nordisk’s values and evolving our culture. Your key responsibilities in this position will include: Managing the annual employee survey and other related surveys as part of the Employee Listening Strategy Leading the global practice areas for Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Flexible Working and Culture, including maintaining related systems and processes Setting the unit’s direction and priorities, and overseeing the execution of deliverables Guiding, developing, and engaging members of the CoE team Managing department budgets and compliance activities You will be seen as a subject matter expert and keep up to date with latest thinking and best practice tools, frameworks and approaches to drive organisational culture, employee engagement and performance management. You will also oversee the maintenance and development of systems, websites and other sources of information for signature processes owned by the department. Communicating with and advising senior stakeholders in P&O and the line of business will be your daily task. Qualifications We imagine you are knowledgeable about behavioural science and able to identify challenges and lead the design and implementation of solutions. You are data-literate with experience in employee surveys or other forms of workplace assessment. You have significant experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and are able to act as a trusted advisor to executive leaders. You have a strong understanding of business and a track record of successfully leading significant change agendas. Furthermore, you are an experienced leader with the ability to build and engage world-class teams. Preferred qualifications for this role: You hold a Master of Science degree in a relevant field Minimum of 5 years of proven experience leading teams within or on behalf of global organisations Strong and proven experience in delivering complex change programmes Strong experience in managing senior stakeholders, working across different functional or business areas and be subject matter expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: organisational culture, employee engagement, performance management Strong communication skills when presenting for small and large audience Analytical skills understanding the research and designing the process Experience with working with projects and people across borders. On a personal level you need to have a strong consultative toolkit and be able to persuasively communicate with people at all levels of an organisation. Finally, it is a clear advantage if you have a very strong understanding of human behaviour in the workplace with the ability to apply behavioural science in uncovering insights and designing solutions for the business. Experience living and working in geographical areas other than your home country is preferred. About the Department You will be part of our Novo Nordisk Way and Facilitation Centre of Excellence (CoE) residing in Global People & Organisation in Novo Nordisk. You will report directly to the Corporate Vice President of NNWay and lead the Culture, Engagement & Performance team which consists of 4 dedicated colleagues situated in different locations across the world.
