Then you might be our new Manager of Business Finance (FP&A) for the SVP area called Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS) in Product Supply. The position As Manager of Business Finance (FP&A) in CSDS, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 people ensuring high engagement and motivation in the team. You will be responsible to drive the financial planning and reporting processes across the SVP area ensuring high quality and reliable financial plans & reports. We strive to have stable and efficient processes and aim to be described as Trusted Finance Partners by our stakeholders. You will be expected to identify and drive continuous optimizations of our processes and how we support the business in the best possible way. You will build and sustain a strong network both across the CSDS organization and across the Product Supply Finance organization. Furthermore, you and the team will prepare business cases, various analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making. Lastly, you are expected to have a genuine interest in leadership and a desire to develop and grow people while delivering business impact. A month could look like this,
  • The first week you ensure the month-end closing and management reporting is of high quality. Potentially a few issues arise that require your attention before you send the mgmt. report to the SVP mgmt. team.
  • The second week you have development talks with your employees and plan the onboarding of a new employee starting the following month.
  • The third week you prepare the upcoming anchor budget process together with the team and think about how you engage with the stakeholders in the best way to capture the significant cost drivers and tie that into a simple yet compelling storyline for the Business Review meeting.
  • Last week of the month you take the time to work on an initiative to create more financial visibility for the department managers across CSDS. A couple of people in your team have worked on a dashboard and they have asked for your feedback before showing it to stakeholders. You also have time to reflect on your own leadership and its impact on the people in your team.
  • Qualification To succeed in this role, you
  • hold a relevant master’s degree
  • have a minimum of +4 years’ experience and a proven track record in financial management, budgeting, financial modeling, and production economy
  • authentic leadership comes naturally to you, that easily builds trust and fellowship. It might be your first leadership position, or you might have several years of experience but with a desire to broaden your profile
  • fluency in English is a requirement, which along with strong communication and presentation skills are essentials
  • courage to challenge the status quo and bring in new perspectives
  • As a person, it is natural for you to create fellowship and build trust as a leader. You enjoy motivating, inspiring, and developing people in your team. You can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while keeping track of the overall team. Lastly, you have excellent communication skills and can easily interact with people at all levels in the organization and you can manage flexible workloads and thrive when working under pressure. About the department The Business Finance team is a part of CSDS Finance that also includes two additional teams: Production Finance and Investment Management. The department is a part of CSDS Business Support located in Bagsværd, Denmark. CSDS Finance is an international team consisting of 25-30 people from approx. 10 different countries. Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS) is an SVP area with more than 3000 employees spanning Denmark, Japan, the US, Algeria, Iran, and Russia. CSDS is responsible for devices, needles, contracts- and local manufacturing as well as sourcing and sustainability across Product Supply. This covers a wide range of functions such as bringing new devices from Research & Development into production, sourcing all direct spend materials, and managing a complex and expanding portfolio of external manufacturers (CMOs).
