About the area
Currently, Novo Nordisk is on an exciting journey to maximise and expand our production capacity globally to ensure delivery of high-quality injectable medicines to our patients. As a part of Product Supply, Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development (ManDev) plays a crucial role in this journey. IFP ManDev supports our global production sites by optimising and developing future manufacturing of injectables - while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance. The area employs +700 people, and your main place of work will be in Bagsværd in the Greater Copenhagen area.
The position
We offer an exciting opportunity to obtain valuable insights into Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) critical activities and the future manufacturing processes. This is a challenging learning journey where you will receive on-the-job learning opportunities and a fast-track to key principles when working in a GMP regulated environment.
The IFP ManDev Development Academy is designed to provide you with valuable learning experience to prepare you for a position in IFP ManDev - or at one of our IFP production sites. You will be a part of team that consists of 10 highly qualified and engaged professionals who will take part in this journey.
Development Academy is structured around an onboarding programme and two rotations. You will receive initial training within the various disciplines related to manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. Your first rotation will be in IFP ManDev, and your second rotation at one of our IFP production sites in either Denmark, France, Brazil, US or China. You will have the possibility to gain valuable international experience within the first year. This 1-year journey will enable you to fast-track your career within pharmaceutical manufacturing and build a strong network across IFP ManDev and IFP production sites.
You will be responsible for executing tasks and smaller projects as well as supporting in more complex cross-functional assignments. The scope and content of the projects vary according to ongoing activities across IFP and will be matched with your educational background and competencies.
The practicalities:
• The IFP ManDev Development Academy is designed as a 1-year journey to prepare you for a position in IFP ManDev or at one of our IFP production sites
• It is a permanent full-time remunerated position. When approaching the end of the first year, we will support you in transferring to your future position in IFP ManDev depending on your competences, business needs, and development wishes
• Start date: 1 February 2024
Qualifications
We expect that:
• You are about to graduate or are newly graduated with a master’s degree level preferably within Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, Physics or other relevant life science educations with excellent results
• You may have experience from the pharmaceutical industry via your studies or student job
• You have a strong focus on learning, and you are open minded and curious by nature
• You are good at communicating and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels across our global organisation
• You are analytical and able to structure and cope with a lot of information and varied tasks
• You possess strong intercultural skills and are fluent in both spoken and written English

Recruitment process
Step 1 – early October: Relevant candidates will be invited for an initial online interview. The candidates who are not invited for an interview will be notified by e-mail.
Step 2 – early November: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an event, where they will take part in assessment exercises and get a chance to hear more about the Development Academy. The event will take place in Bagsværd, Denmark.
Step 3 – mid November: The final group of candidates will be invited for individual interviews where assessments & cases are a part of the interviews before positions are offered to selected candidates.
Step 4 – late November: Recruitment is finalised, and final decisions will be communicated to candidates.
