The position
As our new Senior Program Manager you will be part of our global newly established “Future Proofing AP” program of Injectable Finished Products and report to the responsible program director.
Together with a team of highly skilled project managers and subject matter experts you will set strategic direction, develop, and implement technologies required to operate Restricted Access Barrier Systems. You will execute on ambitious targets, ensure proper planning and progress on preparation and installation of the technical solutions on existing production lines across all sites.
The opportunity will require a solid communication up to SVP level, and high degree stakeholder management of external suppliers and stakeholders within our global organization.
Your tasks will include:
• Driving the program from prototype and pilot, through execution and benefit realisation.
• Developing robust and efficient project plans incl. documentation and validation, while managing project risks on a program level.
• Guiding project managers at sites and centrally, ensuring a culture of inclusion, innovation, and psychological safety in your team of project managers.
• Preparing decisions and reporting for top management e.g., Head of site, Corporate Vice Presidents (CVP) and Senior Vice Presidents (SVP).
• Managing suppliers, consultants, external partners, and authorities.As your projects will be cross-borders, some travelling would be expected, this is estimated up to 20% of travel.Qualifications
• You hold an academic degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science, economics or similar.
• You have solid working experience as a Senior Project or Senior Program Manager of complex global projects.
• Ideally, your experience is within the pharmaceutical industry and the development and implementation of aseptic production equipment.
• You are a natural leader and team player able to quickly build strong working relationships, and you foster a culture of inclusion where people feel free to speak their mind.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are a must, including the ability to target your communication at a broad set of stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds at all organisational levels up to executive management.On a personal level, you have a curious mind and a drive to set and reach ambitious targets on new ground. As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts and keeping the bigger picture in mind.About the department
“Future Proofing AP” is a department and program consisting of highly engaged and experienced project managers and program managers, who run global projects/programs in close collaboration with consultants and suppliers as well as our aseptic production sites in China, France, Denmark, Brazil and the United States.
Our “Future Proofing AP” team is part of IFP Manufacturing Development Technology Innovation. Technology Innovation is responsible for running technology development and implementation projects that will take our existing and future IFP aseptic production sites to the next level by use of the latest emerging technologies.We play an essential role in the Novo Nordisk future, and we are expected to be the front runners for development of new technologies, but also to set ambitious goals and deliver the needed solutions for the future aseptic production.
