About the department The Global Information Security Advisory area is based in Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA, and India.
Our area consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, due diligences & integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance. What’s in it for you? As our new Senior Security Advisor, we expect you to drive the Information Security technical integration phase as part of the overall Acquisition and Integration set-up in Novo Nordisk, and to actively participate in and drive the continuous improvement of embedding and working with information security aspects throughout the technical integration phase, such as: Create and maintain a framework for information security recommendations that cover all deal types (e.g., company and asset acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing deals) Secure data transfer You will also act as our IT Security Architect for acquired companies, and we expect you to: Create a secure architecture design and support its deployment (primarily short and to some extend long term), ranging from both stand-alone companies to full acquisitions Work closely with a team, consisting of both internal employees and external consultants to deliver on a number of projects in acquired companies Be responsible for sourcing and on-boarding of external consultants Hands on (where necessary) implement defensive controls such as hardening, setting up of security tooling etc. Build inhouse information security capabilities to safeguard future partnerships, licensing and acquisitions deals Together with the rest of the Global Information Security team, you act as an information security advisor to stakeholders throughout the Novo Nordisk value chain by identifying risk and proactively developing mitigating solutions. Candidate profile Solid understanding of Windows hardening baselines such as CIS benchmarks and Microsoft baseline, Windows Active Directory, at least one public cloud platform Azure/AWS/GCP and the Microsoft E5 suite A Master’s degree in IT, data science or information security Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC are bonus, eLearn Security etc. At least 6+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity Demonstrated track record of setting up and managing complex projects and cross-organisational initiatives with multiple stakeholders Ability to solve complex problems independently by getting to the core and clearly communicating scenarios, impacts and recommendations to the decision-makers Strong communication and presentation skills using relevant tools To be successful in this you need to have a strong personal drive and a go-get-them attitude. You need to be curious, and pragmatic while persistent to get delivered what you came for. It is also a requirement that the successful candidate can pass through a Tier-1 background check.
