Based in Ballerup Denmark, reporting directly to the Corporate VP of Digital, Data & IT Product Supply (DD&IT PS), as VP DD&IT PS Supply Chain of Novo Nordisk, you will lead a team of 13 managers reporting directly and in-directly, with in total 200 dedicated and passioned colleagues located in India and Denmark. Your main accountabilities will be to:
Business Development Partner (BDP) to the Novo Nordisk Global Supply Chain and overall responsible for the Supply Chain Agile delivery setup. Engage with stakeholders to ensure priorities are understood and translated into roadmaps. Support the strategic development of the use of DD&IT and develop the Business Area DD&IT Strategy with Line of Business. Actively contribute to the development of DD&IT PS and take joint responsibility for the success of the area. Lead by example and allow the Agile Release Trains, Programs and Teams to be self-organized. Ensure inspiring leadership people to Managers on talent attraction, onboarding and hiring people, coaching & mentoring, reward and performance management.
Skills we are looking for
To be successful in this role, we expect you to hold:
Master’s degree in in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or business related. 10+ years of experience from a big matrix organisation and industry with proven track records in business insight. Leadership experience at sites/shopfloor, delegating and empowering others to take action. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred. Fluency in spoken and written English required. Excellent communications skills. As a person, you are ambitious yet with a humble ‘can-do’ attitude and a spirit of innovation. As the new VP of DD&IT PS Supply Chain, in collaboration with both internal colleagues and external partners, you now have the unique opportunity to head up this strategically important area, driven by passion, innovation, agility and simplicity in Novo Nordisk.

DD&IT PS Supply Chain is anchored within the Global DD&IT organisation. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which is needed to support the Novo Nordisk production & warehouse management solutions, as well as supply chain needs worldwide. In addition, as part of the future Digital Supply Chain ambitions, the area is fully partnering with the Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure that future technical enablers such as Data Extraction and AI are included in the Novo Nordisk Supply Chain Target Architecture, and that the organisation is ready to enable, scale and operate these enablers when required.
