Do you want to play an essential role in driving our current as well as new Environmental reporting framework? If so, then you might be our new Environmental Reporting and Data Analyst working as part of the Data and Analytics team of Environmental and Social Sustainability (ESS) at Novo Nordisk. The position We offer and existing and challenging role where you will play a significant role in ensuring high quality Environmental reporting (the E in ESG reporting), hereby positioning Novo Nordisk as a sustainability leader among investors, regulators, and other external stakeholders. As part of the Data and Analytics team your main responsibilities will be to: Prepare timely Product supply (PSQIT) E-reporting, including environmental data in the Annual report, external quarterly company announcements and internal reporting to executive management and other stakeholders Driving and/or working with the development of E-reporting processes, documentation, and system maintenance Ensuring and supporting audit readiness of E-data and liaise with internal and external auditors Controlling and develop digital solutions and data software tools to ensure optimal data entries and analyses Improving the stakeholder management landscape across Product Supply to relieve and shield the organisation whilst at the same introducing higher standards in terms of E-data supply Build up guidelines and procedures for control processes anchored in Assurance Connect and support the internal control questionnaires (ICQs) across areas in Product Supply, Novo Nordisk Qualifications The E-reporting landscape and regulatory space is currently undergoing a revolution – where new requirements such as the CSRD and EU Taxonomy are being introduced. To succeed in this position, you must thrive in a high pace environment, where things are anything but a steady state, The right candidate should have the following skills: Have experience working with environmental sustainability, Controlling, ESG reporting, Finance or as an ESG Consultant A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to ESG topics, accounting/controlling, auditing or similar Worked 3+ years within reporting/controlling or auditing and possess and interest in utilising your financial experience within the ESG space Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels A benefit but not necessity to be familiar with system control processes and data tools such as SOFI (by Sphera), Assurance Connect, or other similar tools As a person we are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-paced homogenous team and at the same time can work with a high degree of independence. Someone who is proactive and a team player and take pride in collaborating with other people in the organisation. Finally, you have an outgoing personality and strong communication skills, both oral and written English, the ideal candidate excels at building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions to drive change and reduce environmental impact. About the department The Data and Analytics team is part of the Environmental & Social Sustainability department and is anchored within the Product Supply, Qualit, and IT organisation of Novo Nordisk. The team has embarked on the journey of reducing the environmental footprint by using data and digital solutions to support decisions. The team is among other things responsible for the reporting of energy, water, waste and CO2 emissions from Production and distribution as well as developing state-of-the-art solutions to support therein. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and scientists as well as business analysts who drive data analysis, insights and intelligence on the environmental sustainability agenda for our expanding production sites. The Team is currently consisting of 8 people in HQ Bagsværd and 3 colleagues in Bangalore, India. We work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to implement the Circular for Zero environmental strategy into Novo Nordisk production thus supporting our overall ambition to have zero environmental impact.
