Are you ready to lead our efforts in digitalizing the P&O services in Novo Nordisk? Do you thrive in setting the strategic direction where you will impact most end-users in Novo Nordisk? If yes, join our management team as interim (maternity cover) Vice President of HR Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) and lead our organisation to new heights! Do you have what it takes? As a maternity cover position, your starting date will be ideally February 2024, with 1 year duration. As our new Vice President, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the DD&IT Staffs organisation and partnering with the Novo Nordisk’s Global People & Organisation to develop sustainable digital, data and IT solutions that impact end users across Novo Nordisk. In doing so, you will be responsible for ensuring an optimal strategy that sets ambitious, yet realistic goals for the organisation. In your new role, you will be able to interact with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, as you will be the link between the business and IT. Primarily as responsible for all digital implementations for Global People & Organisation. As part of your new role, some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Serve as the DD&IT Business Partner for the global P&O organisation being their primary point of contact, ensuring early engagement, improving the speed of delivery, and increasing collaboration between DD&IT and P&O.
  • Leader for HR DD&IT leadership team with 5 leaders in DK, 1 in US, 2 in GBS as well as the RTE, Project Director and Leadership Coordinator
  • Define and manage execution of Global HR DD&IT strategy.
  • Serve as the IT Business Owner and overall responsible for the HR Agile Release Train consisting of 15 agile teams and approximately 170 members.
  • Lead, engage and develop employees in your own area and facilitate employees from P&O as a servant leader.
  • Act as a member of the DD&IT Staffs Management team.
  • Drive large scale Onboarding initiative in DD&IT to support NN’s ambitious scalability journey.
  • What are we looking for? To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of work experience ideally in IT or HR, with solid leadership experience, stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of creating business results. Just as important, you should be passionate about and excellent at setting the strategic agenda. Likewise, we see our ideal candidate as being able to tick most of the following boxes:
  • Strong people management skills, where you will act as an authentic and credible role model for Novo Nordisk values – demonstrating high level of integrity, personal drive, and strategic insight.
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience from a large organisation is an advantage.
  • Additionally, the ideal candidate should be flexible, culturally aware, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as proficiency in English and a strong cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

We are a dedicated area of around 100 people in Denmark, 100 in India and 10 in North America, responsible for the implementation & development, support & maintenance and operation of IT projects and applications for the DD&IT Staffs area in Novo Nordisk.
