The position As a Corporate Tax Advisor,you will be responsible for ensuring corporate tax compliance, while, at the same time, actively contributing with tax advice supporting the operations of the business. Your main tasks will be:
  • Management of tax risks and audits (tax controversy)
  • Monitoring new tax legislation including analysis of impact and implementation of compliance solutions
  • Being responsible for the Coordination Forum, a cross departmental finance forum ensuring compliant handling of significant non-routine transactions
  • Responsible for the reporting of the EU mandatory disclosure requirements (DAC6)
  • Supporting the business by delivering best-in-class tax advice in relation to projects and ongoing business matters together with other departments in Corporate Tax and the wider finance organisation
  • This role offers a challenging opportunity to develop your competencies in a highly professional and dynamic organisation where we prioritise both professional and personal development. You will work out of headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark with frequent interaction with the global Novo Nordisk organisation. Qualifications You hold a relevant master’s degree within accounting, auditing or tax law, with excellent results. Other success criteria are:
  • At least 5 years of professional experience from a similar position, e.g. from an accounting firm/tax consultancy firm, an in-house finance function with focus on tax issues or the tax authorities
  • Solid tax, accounting and analytical skills combined with good interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Danish is not a prerequisite, but will be considered advantageous given the required insights into Danish tax matters
  • On a personal level, you are able to work in a structured manner, respecting deadlines and delivering complex messages in a simple manner, while being a team player with a high level of engagement and drive. About the department In Novo Nordisk’s Corporate Tax department, we are 20 dedicated employees working in teams within corporate income taxes, transfer pricing and indirect taxes. You will be part of the Corporate Income Tax Services team which handles the corporate income taxes. You will refer to the Director of the team. Further to this, you will be part of the Global Tax organisation encompassing around 70 employees worldwide.
