Join Information Security & IT Quality
At GN we balance scientific research with expertise across advanced headsets, headphones and hearing aids. Joining Information Security & IT Quality, which is part of Group IT, you will step into a key role reporting directly to our CISO/DPO. Moreover, you will be joining a team consisting of 9 enthusiastic colleagues, each with our own area of expertise but sharing a dedication to ensuring tight-knit IT security across Group IT.
Ensure data privacy by ensuring that the right systems are in place
As data privacy technical specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integration of privacy by design in the technologies operated by Group IT. Therefore, you can look forward to working closely with the business areas in GN Audio and GN Hearing that are responsible for developing, supplying, and maintaining our various products. Doing so, you will be acting as the go-to specialist and sounding board when it comes to data privacy, jointly defining how to ensure compliance.
More specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring that the technical architecture and implementations adhere to the principles for privacy by design and by default. This includes:
Moreover, you will be responsible for assessing the data protection impact and ensuring that the technology and data design required for compliance are both in place.
Shape your position in an international setting
Data privacy is an area under increased focus and scrutiny, and you get to dive into the legislative requirements across the world making yourself the expert within GN. At the same time, you will have plenty of support working with some of the most skilled and knowledgeable technicians and developers out there finding, designing, and implementing the right solutions together.

There are several approaches to this position but regardless of whether you are a security architect or a shrewd developer, you know your way around IT security. You do not need to be an expert on policies and legislation, but you do have the ability to understand the applicable rules and know how to ensure that our systems keep to the letter of the law.

- Bring a relevant degree within IT or computer science and/or experience within IT security
- Have knowledge of cloud technologies, in particular Azure
- Are familiar with the GDPR regulation and it is a plus if you have worked with other privacy regulations as well as standards like ISO and NIST
- Speak and write English fluently
