Welcome to Group HR Operations

At our HQ in Ballerup, you will become part of Group HR and surround yourself with experienced HR specialists and business partners. You will join a team of 5 competent and ambitious colleagues in HR Operations who are supporting GN in Ballerup with all HR services within the employee lifecycle.

Assist us in providing excellent service for GN Group in Denmark

As our new HR student assistant, you will carry out a variety of administrative tasks to support our operational HR services towards GN in Ballerup.

You will:

  • Support with the administrative part of on- and offboarding of employees. Including:

    • Setting up employees’ pension and health insurance at our pension portal

    • Creating an individual and detailed overview of new employees, terminated employees and changes of employees

    • Contacting Payroll

    • Contacting the employee regarding Work and Residence Permit


  • Ensure GDPR complies with both online- and hard copy documents

  • Quality assurance of data in HR system

  • Ensure HR-help to the Danish employees hired in GN Group when needed

  • Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks

You will work 15-20 hours a week. The job is highly flexible, and we will plan your working hours together, so they fit with your studies.

Structured team player with an interest in service and details

In this role, it is an advantage to be curious by nature and structured in your approaches. You are a team player with solid collaboration skills, and you approach your tasks with a positive attitude and a flair for details. Furthermore, you thrive in a dynamic environment, and readily take on any new responsibilities that come your way. Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have an interest in HR and study HRM, communications or similar – probably at BA level expecting to start your master’s this summer

  • Preferably have some work experience from a private organization that has given you insights into organizational processes

  • Are structured and have a keen eye for small details and are good at noticing small but important things

  • Have great analytic skills and a flair for service

  • Know your way around the MS Office suite – especially Excel

  • Have good communication skills in Danish and English in both speech and writing

  • Can handle confidential and sensitive information
