Ambu is looking for a highly motivated Executive Management Director to support our CINO (Chief Innovation Officer) and drive strategic initiatives across our Global Innovation (GI) department and in the management team. The job requires strong analytical mindset and communicative skills, a solid business understanding and a flair for technology.
As part of the management in Ambu’s Global Innovation department you will have a unique opportunity to take ownership and demonstrate how to coordinate, execute and measure strategic initiatives. You will manage a small team of 1 specialist and 2 graduates, and you will report directly the Chief Innovation Officer.
Supporting Global Innovation’s strategic initiatives
In this job, you will be able to set your mark on Ambu’s future product development and technology focus. You will be a part of the Global Innovation Management Team (GIMT), and engage closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other key stakeholders to drive shared objectives.
Your areas of responsibilities will be:
Strong communication and analytical skills
We expect you to hold a relevant commercial or technical degree (e.g. M.Sc./MBA or similar) and +3 years of experience from a management consulting firm (Project Manager or Engagement Manager level), preferably combined with proven success in planning, governance and execution in positions of similar scope and complexity. You are well-versed in Program/Project level planning, status reporting, financials and risk management and a proven experience of navigating smoothly within change management frameworks.
We are looking for a person who knows how to work independently, proactively and has strong stakeholder management skills that will enable you to build relationships across Global Innovation. You are also analytical, cooperative and systematic, and you are able to have a clear overview in demanding situations. In addition, you turn challenges into opportunities, and you have a natural drive and personal impact.
Furthermore, you must hold excellent communication skills including speaking and writing English on a high level.

- Managing key strategic initiatives, from oversight and collaboration to direct responsibility for execution and outcomes, e.g. driving acquisition integration and transformation initiatives.
- Contributing to identifying key business issues, risks and opportunities, and recommending solutions, options and action plans, including analysis of contingencies, implications and alternative scenarios.
- Planning and facilitating GI-wide initiatives, acting as champion on behalf of the CINO to drive key initiatives e.g. heading up GI’s role in forthcoming corporate strategy process and ensuring follow-up on action items to monitor progress and drive closure.
- Advising, collaborating with, and providing execution support to the CINO, GIMT and the ELT to ensure follow-through and execution on strategically important projects.
- Driving planning and execution of GIMT governance.
- Assisting the CINO in handling critical relationships e.g. the ELT, GIMT, the Board of Directors and key external stakeholders, including organizing and coordinating executive outreach on behalf of the CINO.
- Managing key CINO meetings including preparation and facilitation.
