Advanced Energy are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join the team in Ballerup. As firmware/software engineer you will be part of the engineering team and develop gas monitors within industrial environments.
You will be designing and developing firmware and measurement software
And you will be a technical consultant for our external customers/partners as well as for our internal teams: sales, service, and production.

Advanced Energy are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join the team in Ballerup. As firmware/software engineer you will be part of the engineering team and develop gas monitors within industrial environments.
You will be designing and developing firmware and measurement software
And you will be a technical consultant for our external customers/partners as well as for our internal teams: sales, service, and production.
Further, your responsibilities will be:
- Development of firmware (incl. microprocessor programming) and windows software for gas monitoring systems using photoacustic technology, including customer-specific solutions.
- Design of specific measurement software and customer applications.
- Technical support for partners and customers in cooperation with the applications and sales team.
You are an expert in microcontroller programming and hardware close software development
In addition, we imagine that you have:
- Pronounced programming skills in C, C++ or C#
- Knowledge in PLC programming.
- Master/Diploma in electrical engineering/electronics, information technology, embedded software engineering or similar professional experience
- Danish and English speakning.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of field bus architectures/designs (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, etc.) and their respective network communication protocols (TCP/IP).
