Job Description
We are actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Trainee (GSP) in our Business Digital Organization (BDO). This jumping board position offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in the ever-evolving field of digital transformation at the leading multinational in drive and control technology.
As a trainee in the field of Intelligent Process Automation, you will work closely with our international and talented team, as well as stakeholders and process experts from all country units within our European sales unit. You will leverage advanced automation technologies, including GenAI solutions, to drive efficiency and innovation.
About the Graduate Specialist Program
Explore our Graduate Specialist Program (GSP) – a global initiative for top graduates and professionals with up to 3 years of experience. This entry-level program is for approximately a 2-years period and offers broad practical exposure, systematically preparing participants for specialist roles and fostering cross-divisional collaboration. GSP contributes to Bosch's long-term need for skilled workers, providing both practical preparation for future tasks and a profound insight into the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Automation development, support and maintenance
- Taking ownership of automation projects, which involves identifying, developing, testing, and deployment of new automation solutions, including GenAI solutions, to streamline and optimize business processes.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing automation solutions to ensure their continued effectiveness and relevance.
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks related to automation, such as troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and addressing user queries.
- Providing training and support to end-users during the adoption phase of new automation solutions, ensuring smooth integration and user acceptance.
Learning and adapting technology
- Staying updated with emerging automation and emerging GenAI technologies and tools, and exploring their potential application within the organization. This also involves implementing new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Utilizing data analysis and visualization techniques to derive insights from automation processes, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate the impact of automation on business performance.
Support development of process and organization
- Supporting and evolving the automation framework within the organization, which includes developing best practices, standards, and guidelines for automation implementation and governance.
- Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders across different countries to understand their automation needs, and effectively communicating the benefits and impact of automation solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with data governance frameworks and regulations, and maintaining high standards of data security and privacy in automation processes.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Digital Business Management, Innovation and Technology Management, Information Management, or similar. Specialized degrees in Intelligent Process Automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or Artificial Intelligence (AI) are also beneficial.
- A strong interest in digital innovation, process automation, and emerging technologies, incl. GenAI.
- Prior internships, coursework, or projects related to intelligent process automation, data analytics, machine learning, GenAI or RPA can provide valuable practical experience and demonstrate a genuine interest in the field.
- Familiarity with low-code programming and basic understanding of programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, SQL, Java, or other.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a strong willingness to learn and explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies related to intelligent process automation and GenAI.
- Ability to set and achieve goals, prioritize tasks, and effectively plan and execute projects with a focus on delivering measurable results.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users. The ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in English, to enable effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders and colleagues within the region.
