Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• support, maintain and develop the overall infrastructure behind the big data platform and the applications running on it.
• ensure platform integrity, security and accessibility.
• participate in day-to-day monitoring, operation and support of the big data platform and its applications.
• collaborate with Engineers to secure delivery pipelines for data products.
• evolve our setup with automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• provide scalability in the infrastructure when needed in a cost efficient manner.
• participate in planning and execution of the implementation of new initiatives on the platform.
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will be part of a small and dedicated team in Billund but will also work closely with our Engineers, a colleague in Enfield and externals based in Ukraine and Poland. We also have a close relationship with the analytical teams to drive the data-driven decision agenda in The LEGO Group.
Our department is focused on designing, building and maintaining Big Data products. We are a multi-functional team with full-stack responsibility of the solutions we build, and we build solutions for all areas of The LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?
We are open to various backgrounds within the field of Engineering, Computer Science or a similar related field if you have meaningful working experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS), infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Chef/Terraform or similar), Linux system administration, and setting up CI pipelines.
It's a plus if you also have experience or knowledge of Big Data technologies like Cloudera/Hadoop or similar stacks. In our team, we also work with Tableau, Rstudio, Hue, Rancher and Docker so you will fit right in if you love playing with various technologies and tools.
As a person, it's important that you have strong collaboration and communication skills as you will be interacting with colleagues from various areas in the organisation and cultures. A part from this, we also love people who take initiative and continuously seeks to achieve improvements in daily work for the team and the wider LEGO Group.
