Your new role
Shoreline are specifically looking for someone who has designed and built a test automation framework, including end-to-end test framework, component mocks, and test data. You will work with continuous improvement of the test process including processes, methods and tools and have an equal focus on functional and non-functional tests. Furthermore, you will secure that the user stories and acceptance criteria are testable and specifying and preparing test activities. Your daily activities will include monitoring test results and check exit criteria and adapt the test plan based on test results and progress, if necessary, you will take action to counteract problems.
Furthermore, your daily work tasks will be the following, but not limited to:
• Report and manage product risks
• Introduce appropriate measurement data to measure test progress and to evaluate the quality of the test and product
• Evaluate tools to support testing and organize necessary training in using tools for the tests
• Document test results based on information collected during testing
• Assist product owners and stakeholders in acceptance test
• Coach the software development team
• Collaborate with other test/QA leads in their work
You will be responsible for the following:
• The test strategy for the project scrum team
• Planning, execution, documentation and continuous improvements of relevant tests
• Deciding appropriate level on what should be automated, to what extent and how
• Defect management under development
• Test data
What you'll need to succeed
Experience with designing and building a test automation framework
• Designing and building an end-to-end test framework
• Developing and execute on test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
• Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit, system, integration, and regression testing)
• Component mocks
• Test data in testing
• Functional and non-functional testing
• Stress testing
It will be preferable if you have Software Development background.
