You will join our Technical Safety department

As our new Technical Safety Specialist, you will be part of a team consisting of 6 highly dedicated technical specialists in Esbjerg, who contribute to both clients and in-house projects with regards to technical safety. The work involves analytical safety analysis as well as workshops, facilitating for clients and development of safety applications.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Establish governing health and safety documentation and philosophies

  • Establishing strategies for technical safety disciplines

  • Follow up to ensure that project design satisfy safety requirements

  • Risk and consequence analysis (fire, explosion, etc.)

  • Escape, evacuation, rescue and recovery assessments

  • Perform design reviews/verifications

  • Facilitate HAZOP, HAZID and LOPA workshops

  • Functional safety requirement

  • Workplace assessment

  • Hazardous area assessment

  • Bachelor or Master’s in Safety or Chemical Engineering

  • Master’s in Oil & Gas Technology

  • Minimum 8 years of experience from the oil and gas industry or similar industries such as the process industry

  • Multidiscipline project management experience

  • Knowledge and work experience related to hazard identification and evaluation techniques (HAZOP, HAZID, ALARP, LOPA, etc.)

  • You must be fluent in English, both written and verbally

  • Danish language skills will be an advantage

  • HAZOP chairman
