Key Responsibilities
As Contracts Engineer in the Tyra Redevelopment Project Team, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in promoting the C&P function as a managed process, which requires timely input from technical users and approvals from a variety of project stakeholders in line with TEP DK procedures. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in establishing contracting strategies with technical counterparts. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when ensuring procurement processes including ethical principles, comparative evaluation of contractors and management of changes and amendments.
Overall, you will have the responsibility of contractor remuneration and their commercial implications together with the ability to ensure appropriate provisions. You are the one to proactively facilitate effective relationships, contract planning, award & contract management. Furthermore, you will ensure all contracting activities meet audit requirements in compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for reviewing and compiling the technical part of the ITT package based on input received from Technician.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
- Acting as a focal point with the assigned client groups and cooperating with technical counterparts
- Proposing and recommending suitable contractors/suppliers for bidder lists to optimize tendering.
- Compiling, issuing and administering ‘Invitation to Tender’ packages to procure the most realistic and commercially attractive proposals from potential contractors/suppliers.
- Reviewing and considering legal aspects associated with tendering, contract award & administration
- Drafting appropriate contractual and commercial terms
- Monitoring contractors’ performance, promoting and attending performance review meetings
- Participating in supplier relationship management & supplier performance management activities.
- Providing general assistance in contractual & procurement matters as required to support Tyra Redevelopment Project
