Key Responsibilities
As Safety Advisor in the Operational Safety team of the Health, Safety & Environment department, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in assisting teams to ensure adequate task risk assessments / safe job analysis for all operational activities. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in affiliate-wide communication, analysis and follow-up of incident corrective actions to avoid the repetition of similar incidents within the affiliate and the TotalEnergies Group. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when participating in investigations and evaluating risk inherent in operational and construction tasks in TEPDK’s activities and engage relevant onshore stakeholders to adequately plan and resource for safe execution of work.
Overall, you have the responsibility of reviewing and contributing to Standing Instructions and Operating Procedures. You are the one to write and update Operational Safety related procedures Furthermore, you will ensure to review incidents and participate in incident investigations that involve safe work practices; make timely, risk-based recommendations. You will also lead the Audit Committee meetings for the Affiliate and Projects and coordinate the development of annual audit plans. Finally, you are responsible for supporting the coordination to the branch/headquarter audits, and lead internal audits as requested.

- Incorporate findings from investigations and audits into TEPDK safe working practices.
- Participate in Operational Safety related audits of Company and Contractor operations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safe work practices.
- Participate in technical evaluation of contractors involved in the execution of activities that involve safe work practices.
- Assist to coordinate the TEPDK COREX Committee meetings.
- Effective application of the root cause analysis methodology in order to ensure leanings from safety related incidents.
