Espergærde

This is your opportunity to work with state-of-the-art injection moulding tools as you help develop products and services that make life easier for people with intimate medical conditions.

Though you may have several years of experience, we will still be able to provide you with complex challenges to develop your technical skills even further. Join us to help set the standard for our future production and gain a broad network within your field as you collaborate with multiple stakeholders on a global playground.

Team spirit, support and plenty of exciting challenges
The Injection Moulding department is situated in Mørdrup, Denmark. Here, you will join 7 engineers and 1 technician in the Injection Moulding Engineering team. Together, you will be responsible for securing project deliverables of injection moulded parts and for all engineering activities – from mould manufacturing strategy to qualification and implementation of moulds in our new product development projects. Also, you will serve as technical backup for our projects in the Injection Moulding Operation team.

”Your new team works globally, and we really value teamwork. You will experience a great degree of freedom, but at the same time, we challenge each other on solutions and ideas in review groups to make sure that moving forward, no one stands alone. We succeed as a team,” explains Lars Schulz Jakobsen, Head of Injection Moulding, Engineering.

New product development projects and develop moulds for capacity
You will be responsible for developing and implementing moulds in very close cooperation with our toolmakers, injection moulding suppliers, and relevant internal functions. The moulds will be used in our new product development projects or capacity maintenance for the production so you will play a key role in finding the best possible tool solutions – and make sure they perform in a high-performance production.

Essentially, you will contribute to ensuring a high level of design for manufacturing focusing on quality, stable production and delivering on time while challenging capability and part requirements. You will be able to manage your own forecasts for the project-related activities, and part of your job will also be to document your activities.

Stakeholder management will be an important part of your job. Without our suppliers and tool makers, you cannot succeed, so strong collaboration is key. As our suppliers are located worldwide, you can expect to travel approx. 20-40 days per year, primarily within Europe.

Experience with injection moulded parts, mould design and tool making processes

  • You have a technical background, e.g. as a tool maker, combined with a degree in engineering or similar.
  • You have years of practical experience with tool making processes.
  • You have solid experience from the injection moulding business and preferably an international company within the medical devices area.
  • You have experience in DFM and developing tools for injection moulded parts.
  • You possess strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.

“As a person, the way you work is defined by analytical reasoning, structured problem-solving and a strong methodological approach. And at heart, you are a team player who understands the importance of positive contributions to the team to nurture development, so we succeed together,” says Lars.
