The job
As the HSE Manager in Carlsberg Danmark, you will have the responsibility to ensure that all Carlsberg Health, Safety and Environmental systems, standards and methods, tools and processes are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements. You will support, drive and deploy Group HSE strategy in Carlsberg Danmark and actively participate as part of the site senior management team in order to develop and achieve our sites HSE strategy and objectives.
Your responsibilities
The key tasks in the role cover both health, safety and the working environment divided into the below mentioned areas;
People Management
Process Management
Functional Specific Management
Your qualifications
With a background in engineering or other technical education on master level, you have obtained minimum 3-5 years production experience, preferably in FMCG or Food industry working with HSE. Preferably with some time at management level.
Further to that, we are looking for an HSE Manager who;
You will have a broad network both national and international, which requires that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

The job
As the HSE Manager in Carlsberg Danmark, you will have the responsibility to ensure that all Carlsberg Health, Safety and Environmental systems, standards and methods, tools and processes are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements. You will support, drive and deploy Group HSE strategy in Carlsberg Danmark and actively participate as part of the site senior management team in order to develop and achieve our sites HSE strategy and objectives.
Your responsibilities
The key tasks in the role cover both health, safety and the working environment divided into the below mentioned areas;
People Management
- Active participant in the site leadership team and regional HSE network. Expected to support Group HSE strategy and initiatives
- Setting and managing HSE department of 5 employees incl. financial budget
- Responsible to ensure all required HSE training is completed and in compliance with all standards and policies related to HSE
- Drive and develop safety Culture - development and changes in attitude, awareness, behavior, mindset and habits of employees
Process Management
- Ensure investigation and root-cause analysis are conducted and completed for all significant environment and safety issues
- Advise and support the site management team on all HSE issues within their areas of responsibility
- Monitor, track and ensure legal compliance for the legislation
- Provide detailed HSE input into site Long Term Development Plan process
- Primary contact for all external audits and assessments conducted at site(s) including all management systems and other required compliance assessments
Functional Specific Management
- Conduct field observations, inspections, coaching and guidance, 25% of time minimum in the field
- Supports local Management teams liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure their compliance with local systems
- Advises and is a member of the local Crisis Management Team or/and Emergency Response Team in case of critical or serious HSE incidents
Your qualifications
