Are you ready to take active part of an exciting greenfield transformation from a tailored SAP ECC solution to a new SAP S4HANA solution based on standard and cross functional processes? Do you have a passion for IT and what it can do to optimize the business and daily work, and do you thrive in the collaboration with a business that has digital ambitions? Then you may be our new SAP Consultant within the MM and QM modules. Our transformation project will continue for the next approx. 2,5 years and cover the Danish DLG companies.
In this role, you will join DLG´s Group IT SAP Solutions team which consists of 32 internal SAP architects, consultants, test manager and developers. We cooperate cross-border and are located both in Denmark and Germany.
The future is business harmonization and digital differentiation
SAP-ECC has been our core ERP solution in both DLG and our German sister company HaGe for several years, though as two separated systems. This includes most SAP modules like MM, SD, QM, PP-PI, FI, CO, eWM, PO, BW and several 3rd party solutions. Our ambition is now to be more process-oriented across the companies. SAP Standard is essential for the success, but we do develop in areas of business differentiations.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new SAP Consultant – Procure-to-Pay and Quality, it is your role to understand our business processes and business requirements and transform these into robust SAP solutions based on standard scope items. After a short but solid introduction to our running solution and processes, you will be allocated to the transformation project. Here you will take active part in the full project lifecycle from ideas, requirements, design, test, go´live and post go´live enhancements. After the S4 roll-outs in Denmark we expect to continue the roll-out in our sister company south of the border.
What we expect from you
You are proactive, empathic, and self-motivating by nature, with the ability to take lead in your area and involve your colleagues as a team player.
We are flexible to your level of seniority, but we expect natural curiosity and ERP interest in the area of procurement and quality. SAP-MM and QM experience is considered an advantage but not a prerequisite, since we are willing to invest in you, besides the learning you get in the project.
As we use the agile delivery method, experience herein is also an advantage.
We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English. Solid Danish and/or German skills is an advantage.
Your working location will be from our headquarter in Fredericia, but expect travel days to other locations like Aarhus, Copenhagen, Flensburg or Kiel. Our presence in the office is flexible with options to work from home, however the S4 HANA project requires physical presence 3 days per week.
