The Position
This is your opportunity to join CO-RO in a newly created position within our Global Procurement team in Frederikssund. As a Category Management Assistant, you report directly to Senior Director, Global Customer Supply Chain, and you will be working in close collaboration with three experienced Category Managers responsible for sourcing of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Logistics & Services for our production site in Frederikssund and globally.
Among your responsibilities will be to support strategic sourcing and procurement activities in Denmark and across markets where CO-RO operate. You will be driving sourcing and value optimization projects and you will be closely involved in supplier development and supplier management activities to help our procurement team to ensure a competitive and well performing supplier base.
Tasks of this position include, but are not limited to:
- General support to Category Managers across categories and geographies
- Execute value optimization projects
- Run tenders and procurement related projects
- Support quality and food safety initiatives
- Follow up on supplier performance and non-conformances
- Maintain price and contract data in D365 (ERP System)
- Contribute to overall development of the Global Procurement function to establish professional procurement processes and improve ways of working

This position is also seen as a potential talent path to Category Management or other Supply Chain positions.
You will enjoy a broad collaboration throughout the organization, and have daily contact to multiple stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Innovation and Customer Service etc. The Global Procurement team is a part of the larger Customer Supply Chain function, established to ensure best-in-class service to customers, stakeholders across departments of our HQ, as well as to our many partners around the world.
The Profile

You thrive with impacting the business through daily activities and execution. Operating in an international work environment appeals to you, and you possess excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to create trusted relations.
You hold a relevant education within supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent and have a few years’ experience with strategic sourcing and procurement preferably from a FMCG or manufacturing company but more importantly you have a passion for procurement.
For this specific position, English is required, and Danish is an advantage.
