The job
We are looking for a back-end developer to join our team of data scientists, data engineers and software developers.
Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with backend software development in Python and AWS cloud technologies. You will be developing and maintaining our data ingestion pipelines, bespoke analytics platform, and the underlying AWS infrastructure on which it all runs.
You get the opportunity to collaborate on improving our production processes, with experienced professionals throughout the value chain, including IT-system managers, chemists, and data scientists.
About the department
You will be part of Biotech Rare Diseases (BRD) Advanced Analytics department within our Manufacturing Development area. Main responsibilities of the department include supporting and optimizing all parts of the production using IT, data from the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, all the way to finished products. We are currently on a journey towards becoming even more data driven in this role.
The department consists of diverse team members, and you will be working with talented programmers, data engineers, and data scientists. We are working on exciting data projects across the Novo Nordisk global value chain!
Qualifications
You have relevant documented experience within back-end software development. You hold a degree within Computer Science, Engineering or similar or have extensive experience within the field.
