Student Assistant – Procurement

Summary:
We are looking to strengthen our Procurment team with a Student Assistant. As a Student Assistant- Procurement you will provide support to the Procurement department within a company.Procurement is part of Group Operations that covers the end-to-end Supply Chain process i.e. plan, source, make, and deliver. On its maturity journey, Procurement is reinforcing its end-to-end processes, the governance and quality of its master data and is rolling-out a solid digital landscape to support Source-to-Pay process flow. Procurement Center of Excellence drives this maturity journey in close collaboration with the company’s category managers as well as stakeholders outside of the Procurement department. The team is international, and all are dedicated to delivering outstanding results and going the extra mile to succeed. You will report to the Procurement Center of Excellence Lead and work at company headquarters in Gentofte.
What can you expect in as a Student Assistant- Procurment in Procurement Center of Excellence at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
In Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), we are incredibly excited to embark on a digital transformation journey.
All Procurement activities have been gathered in one digital procurement platform, Ivalua. As the Procurement Assistant, you will support our category managers in their daily activities on the platform. Some of the tasks you can expect to work on will be:
• Ensure tenders run smoothly from preparation to supplier selection.
• Support administratively with procurement documents such as NDAs, certifications, and supply contracts.
• Be in contact with our suppliers to ensure a good procurement collaboration once agreements have been signed.
· Maintain supplier data and collaborate with our finance department on validating financial information during supplier onboarding.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you can take ownership of the designed procurement processes and will be an ambassador for these towards colleagues not familiar with the systems, tools, and the Procurement department in general.
Skill that matters the most for this role:
• Final year in Bachelor’s degree or First year in Master’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, or another relevant field.
• Will take pride in leading the digital agenda within Procurement and with external teams.
• Are a proficient user of Microsoft Excel and can work with large data sets.
• Generally, are tech-savvy and have a flair for understanding workflows and processes.
• Have a can-do attitude and ability to work with stakeholders with different backgrounds and IT knowledge.
• Are fluent in English
