At Johnson Controls, we are now looking for a Site Manager to manage an on-site project in Odense, Denmark, where we will work with a local contractor to install new fire protection systems in a large industrial venue. In this role, you will become the focal point between Johnson Controls, local contractor and site, and you will report to the Project Manager located in Italy. You will enter a project-based role of 2 years duration with a possibility for extension.

How you will do it
As Site Manager, you will carry out your daily activities in close contact with both the contractor, the Installation Supervisor and the Project Manager. You will organise progress meetings, handle requests from the contractor and coordinate the different project phases (initiation, tests and commissioning) with the support of the contractor and specialists.

How you will do it

In addition, you will manage – either directly or through the Installation Supervisor:
- The workforce, work progress and HSE compliance
- Material on site i.e. quality, quantity, specifications, and warehouse stock
- Quality of installation
What we look for
Required
- Significant experience with managing on-site projects
- Knowledge of mechanical/pipe installation projects
- Fluent in English and Danish.
Preferred
- Technical background – E.g. as an engineer within fire, mechanical or Oil/Gas
- Knowledge of QA and DBI rules
- Skilled in reading and analyzing contractual documentation e.g. specifications, terms and conditions
- Skilled in MS Projects and MS Office.
