Our Life Sciences Business is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing verticals within SI. Our customers in this segment truly value sustainability, energy infrastructure and technology applications in their real estate strategies. They are investing heavily in a broad range of HVAC, building control and efficiency solutions. Naturally, IoT is a central theme going forward (asset management, digital twins etc..).
As our new head for the Life Sciences Vertical, you would lead a globally distributed team, fully representing our value proposition in the market, generating new opportunities, and accelerating growth. You will be reporting into the Global Head of Vertical Sales.
Location: we are flexible on the location of the role within Europe.

The key elements of this role involve:
- Partner with our leadership teams to formulate and own the overall Life Sciences Business Strategy. Define the markets and positioning, business plans, target accounts, dedicated headcounts and portfolio investments.
- Lead and develop marketing programs, channel, and pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth and expansion of the business.
- Provide specialized sales enablement support to the local sales teams, working with Marketing to build specific customer messaging and material for target customer segments.
- Guide and conceptualize the development of new offerings within the business that are innovative and profitable and leverage our digital capabilities.
- Empower, mentor, and lead your team of portfolio and business development managers. Lead the community of multiple levels of Life Sciences managers across the globe.
- Build and nurture C-level relationships both with customers and within Siemens.
- Seek out end establish 3rd party partnering opportunities - especially in software.

- Outgoing and collaborative personality with a high level of dedication and resilience - able to get results in a complex environment.
- Inspirational leadership style with a hands-on approach, able to radiate trust. This will empower the team to reach new revenue heights.
- Deep understanding of the life sciences sector - ideally in building technologies, lab solutions, electrification or energy efficiency.
- Outstanding and senior track record in international sales / business development & strategy
- Conceptual creativity, brilliant presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders will make you successful in every aspect of the role.
- Willingness to travel internationally - 20-40% of time.
