Commercial Excellence, Chief Consultant

As Commercial Excellence, Chief Consultant, you will be responsible for governance and tools, forecast accuracy and portfolio management interfacing internal stakeholders.
You will act as a change agent driving transformation and harmonization across the commercial area. In addition, you will play a key role in strengthening the interaction and network around market leads in the regions.
With direct report to the EVP of the CCO area you will be a vital part of the commercial area which is organized in a global matrix organization with business areas and regions consisting of seven engaged and highly skilled senior leaders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Governance and tools
Forecast accuracy
Product and Application Portfolio Management (PAPM)
Your qualifications are that you have a proven track record working towards commercial excellence in a complex and international company, driving a change agenda optimizing the commercial way of working based on a strong customer focus using data as foundation. The experience could be obtained through both internal and external sales.
You have solid experience in developing, managing and implementing projects driving a successful change management agenda. The process must be transparent and motivating for the involved colleagues and must create a mindset for continously improvement in the organisation.
You have a Master’s Degree within business or economics.
You are a person with a strong personality and is capable of building trusted relationships with a broad network of internal stakeholders on all levels of an organisation. You are a world class communicator, who can adjust direction and ensure that the initated projects are sponsored by top management as well as project participants. You are an outgoing person with great social qualities, trustworthy and curios combined with a persistent drive to reach visible results.
You have a good analytical and strategic mindset enabling you to keep an overview making the right chose acting for the good of the entire value chain of the company.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Governance and tools
- Develop and deploy the strategy within Commercial Excellence
- Building up a global best practice sharing scheme and provide training, guidelines, and support for sales team and key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain policies and processes for portfolio management, business development and sales (lead generation, opportunity shaping, proposal preparation and contract negotiation)
- Define the use of tools and reporting (CRM, business intelligence, reports)
- Use data analytics and customer insights to improve global standards, sales processes, tools, and customer experience
Forecast accuracy
- Assess pipeline strength and qualification in comparison with budgets and strategies
- Assess overall data quality
- Develop and roll-out a sales cockpit for transparency
Product and Application Portfolio Management (PAPM)
- Owner of the PAPM process
- Facilitate the PAPM process in coordination with business area
- Establish profitability analysis in coordination with Performance Management
- Establish insights and decision tools for Executive Management on portfolio
