The position
As a Senior Environmental Chemist you will be our new EM area specialist, you will lead the way within EM optimisation. This will involve having a key role in ensuring that we comply with applicable legal requirements and that we maintain a high level of compliance across the department.

About the department
Formulation & AP Support is part of a new formulation and filling factory in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) in Hillerød (Hi). The factory delivers Penfill® to our patients both domestically and abroad. The department is responsible for supplying washed and sterilized capsules, pistons, tanks, formulating products, supplying steam, water and air to the other departments and finally, monitoring the aseptic environment in production. You will be part of a dedicated department consisting of operators, craftsmen, and supporters, who all work closely together, across professional boundaries and other departments. The department is characterized by a good team spirit in a busy environment, where we treat each other with respect. Our mantra is to make work easy for our colleagues.

The position
As a Senior Environmental Chemist you will be our new EM area specialist, you will lead the way within EM optimisation. This will involve having a key role in ensuring that we comply with applicable legal requirements and that we maintain a high level of compliance across the department.

- Monitoring level of compliance through the number of deviations.
- Having a central role in the close cooperation with the other departments in ramp up and optimization of processes.
- Help setting the direction within GMP and ensure that we are always at the forefront.
- Part of the process groups where all the Area Specialist across the countries help investigate.
- Being a learner and educator to help develop new skills of your colleagues.

Qualifications
Your experiences include:
- BSc, MSc or PhD in a scientific background as a Chemist, Engineer, Pharmacist, Biologist or equivalent.
- Experience with EM from a similar position or setup, such as aseptic production or within the microbiological field.
- Experience/knowledge within EM processes and optimisation, with the use of new technologies and digitalization would be desirable.
- Great communication skills with experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a complex stakeholder landscape.
- Ideally fluent in both English and Danish. We would require a willingness to learn Danish.
