Do you want to play a key role in introducing new production equipment enabling Novo Nordisk to deliver medical pen systems to our patients around the world? If yes, then you may be our new validation engineer to join our department on an exciting journey where we support Novo Nordisk’s ability to deliver fantastic medical pen systems to our patients. Novo Nordisk is today helping 40 million patients with our life changing products helping them live happier, healthier lives. We need a talented validation engineer to ensure that new moulds are brought diligently into our production. The job You will as the new Validation Engineer join Novo Nordisk in Hillerød by driving and supporting the process of validating moulding tools. Together with a team of technicians, operators, project managers, equipment owners and engineers you will make sure that the equipment is validated timely without compromising on quality, patient safety and cost. To succeed in this role, stakeholder management is key as you will interact with many stakeholders ensuring that expectations to quality and timelines are met. Hence you must be good at planning and coordinating validation activities. As our Validation Engineer you will be part of a strong team with our Internal and External Validation colleagues responsible for proactively driving and coordinating the validation activities and documents. You will together with your validation colleagues share best practice and together improve our drafting, executing, and reporting of validation activities i.e., IQ, OQ, PQ. Qualifications
  • A bachelor or master’s degree within pharmacy, engineering or similar
  • Proficiency in English and Danish, written and oral.
  • Experience with equipment validation process by execution and reviewing Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ)
  • Knowledge about injection moulding of medical devices will also be an advantage
  • Outgoing personality where you easily build trustful relations across the organisation
  • Preferable 3 years of experience from the pharmaceutical/medical device industry
  • As a person, you are self-driven, proactive with a high degree of responsibility. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and can manage several projects simultaneously. You have a strong drive and the ability to set direction and engage your project team. Lastly, you are result-oriented, curious by nature and dare to challenge status quo. About the department Device Manufacturing & Sourcing is located in new buildings in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød. The department Moulding & Quality Support consists of 80 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for maintaining our fleet of moulding-, decoration- and robot equipment, and installing new capacity supporting Novo Nordisk’s global production of prefilled and durable medical pen systems.
