The position As Project Portfolio Manager you drive a portfolio of projects with high impact on our production area IM1 and PS API.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Manage a portfolio of investment projects in our production area incl. budget control
  • Ensure that the projects comply with the agreed governance in the area
  • Inspire and motivate the project group to deliver excellent results by ensuring clear project scopes, integrated use of risk management and project plans that secures transparency for all key stakeholders.
  • Engage in optimisation processes and develop analytical tools and dashboards to use for controlling the portfolio of projects
  • Facilitate meetings & workshops with management to support the process and decision making
  • You will be responsible for project related communication to stakeholders and balancing of the project organization and the timelines of each project in the portfolio. You will participate in prioritizing what projects to focus on and have a big impact on the strategy and direction of our area. Qualifications
  • You hold a master’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. natural science, pharmacy, biology, engineering or similar
  • You have some experience from working in a medical production, preferably from API production or finished products
  • You have an understanding of pharmaceutical processes and knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements (GMP) within pharmaceutical products
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point and Excel
  • You have profound insight into systematic problem solving.
  • Lastly, you are proficient in both written and spoken English
  • It would be considered an advantage if you have experience from coordinating and planning projects or basic programming skills to develop tools for data analytics, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you have a solid understanding of process equipment within pharmaceutical production. On a personal level, you are a self-starter who thrives with driving tasks independently and have exceptional stakeholder management skills. You have excellent analytical, planning and organization-skills, which enable you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly. You have a proven ability to network, build trust in your relationships and get commitment form internal and external stakeholders. You will have to be curious and eager to challenge the status quo in a respectful way to ensure the pragmatic solutions are brought forward in a swift manner. About the department As we are growing, we are looking for a Project Portfolio Manager to join our Projects department in IM1 (Insulin Manufacturing 1), which is part of rapidly growing PS API area (Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient). IM1 is a production area, with a total of 700 employees in Kalundborg, where we produce our newest GLP-1 products. You will become a part of a high performing Project Management Office (PMO) team that consists of project managers, project assistants, engineers, and technical professionals. Together we are responsible for execution of investment projects, in a complex, constantly changing and highly regulated pharmaceutical area. Our purpose is to make a change in IM1, by driving small and large-scale projects that improves quality of facility and processes and increase our production capacity.
