As our new colleague, you will be:
• Responsible for developing robust and cost-effective injection moulding tools. From design of plastic components for mouldability all the way down to production.
• Responsible to take the mould through an extensive period of testing and process optimization to ensure all our requirements are met and plastic components fulfill all specifications.
• Collaborate with mould-makers and with internal stakeholders across the value chain to develop the right technical solutions based on a well-documented set of requirements.
• Responsible to ensure the safety of the patients ensuring your work complies with GEP and industry quality standards.
• Contribute to processes and equipment qualification to ensure comply with these standards. To be successful in this position, a collaborative and find-solution mindset is needed in the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your internal stakeholders include but are not limited to Design- Mould- and Process engineers, Moulding technicians and operators, project and category managers, QA and QC professionals. You will be part of the global support of Novo Nordisk manufacturing lines. This means that your experience and knowledge will have a global impact and access. Together with production support, you will be identifying root causes to unexpected events or deviations from specifications, provide solutions to the issues and implement relevant preventive measures. Qualifications
You must have:
• A relevant education as Tool Maker and/or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Min. 2 years of work experience, including internships, research, student jobs when relevant for the position.
• Basic CAD modelling proficiency for one among: CREO, CATIA; Solidworks, Inventor.
• Proven excellent Stakeholder Management skills.
• Proficiency in English in speech as well as in writing. In addition you must have two or more from the below competencies:
• Experience working in the medical or pharmaceutical industry or GxP environment.
• Experience with design a/o manufacturing a/o assembly of injection moulding tools.
• Experience within the plastic processing industry or injection moulding.
• Experience within manufacturing development or development processes.
• Experience with lean tools and Systematic Problem Solving

You will be joining 45+ dedicated technical experts and projects managers in the Components Department in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) in Hillerød. We develop the equipment and processes that transform great device designs into products for our patients, bridging the gap between development and production. We need you to set direction and partner up with suppliers to design all the equipment necessary to perform all the processes involved in the manufacturing of the device components. As part of a growing and new team - Moulding Tool Development - you will be part of a group of ca. 10 technical experts that together drive manufacturing development for all new moulding tools concepts for existing and new medical device components production. In the department you will have colleagues working with plastic processing, process monitoring, injection moulding machines, robot handling systems and plastic raw material specifications.
