As Technical Project Manager, you will play a leading role in the development of a medical device project through all stages of the product lifecycle. Additionally, be responsible for ensuring transparency in the decisions made, involvement, and fair representation of all areas across Devices & Delivery Solutions (DDS). You will have the technical mandate and can decide upon technical issues as long as the Scope, Time, and Budget are not impacted. Your key responsibilities: Drive technical performance of the system and/or subsystem/module as defined for a specific project Ensure consistency within design input, design output, design verification, and design validation including the correct requirements and verification and validation thereof; the right specifications for manufacturing (drawings, material specifications, component specifications etc.); and involvement of all relevant stakeholders in tradeoffs Stakeholder alignment across the organization to reach decisions and ensure progress Work with team dynamics and constructive feedback You will work in close collaboration with other project managers, e.g. regulatory affairs, risk managers, mechanical engineers, software and hardware engineers, development manufacturing, UX and graphical designers, and play an important role in connecting these stakeholders across professional areas of expertise. Qualifications To thrive and succeed you have: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering At least 5+ years in technical project management for product development, preferably within medical device or other highly regulated industries Familiarity with design control processes Fluency in English (both written and spoken) It would be considered an advantage if you have: Successfully taken a product from concept to product launch Proficiency in requirements tools e.g. Modern Requirements Managed complexity of multiple platforms and variants through Product Line Engineering, Configuration Management, and/or Variability Modelling As a person, you are analytical, structured, and demonstrate attention to detail, while keeping the overview of the system you are engineering. You thrive in a dynamic and changing environment and are not afraid of voicing your opinion and challenging status quo on our processes. You are a strong team player recognized for your interpersonal skills. Overall, you bring a "can do" spirit, a healthy common sense, a good sense of humor to your work, and you celebrate successes along the way. About the department
The Systems Engineering department consists of highly skilled and motivated professionals and specialists who take pride in being the experts driving system design, from early development through product commercialization. We are part of Novo Nordisk DDS, which is the organization responsible for the development of device solutions for medical self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. In our department, we have a wide range of development projects in different development phases and you will join a team of 13 contributing on projects related to pens and auto-injectors. Our main aim is to further advance our offerings to people living with chronic diseases and their healthcare professionals through new technologies.
