The Position As a Mechanical Engineer, you will assume the role of equipment responsible, taking charge of their specific responsibilities based on their background and interests. This will include handling deviations and implementing preventive measures while also leading optimizations and performance stabilization activities. We work collaboratively with skilled workers to ensure the stability of the organization's production equipment. Our team works together with many stakeholders, such as Quality Assurance (QA) and other support teams, so you will gain a broad network across the organisation. Your main focus will be on:
• Being responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of production equipment through continuous improvement initiatives and preventive measures.
• Ensuring a consistent flow in calibration and conducting systematic problem-solving.
• Contributing to the supervision of skilled workers to enhance their knowledge of tolerances, fine adjustments and focusing on other similar areas that drive optimal performance of filling lines.
• Performing detailed documentation work. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you should have:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• A background as a technician/ craftsman and/ or an experience in creation of solutions for prompt problems and an in working with technical challenges.
• Understanding how mechanical adjustments, alignments, dimensioning, and tolerances can influence our manufacturing flow especially on automation systems (automated servo transport etc.) and an experience of using these levers to improve performance.
• Experience within GMP environment or other a highly regulated environment is considered a plus.
• Fluency in English with willingness to learn Danish or knowledge of Danish. On a personal level, you thrive in a dynamic environment with a strong quality mindset. Being a great team player and an independent professional are key to succeed in our team. About the department The department is part of the filling factory Injectable Finished Products (IFP) in Hillerød, which recently started launching the first pen fill to support our diabetics journey at Novo Nordisk. You will become part of the Filling & Inspection department, consisting of around 100 engaged colleagues, both skilled workers and supporters, who all work closely together across professional boundaries together as one department. In AP Filling & Inspection, we are responsible for supplying our filling lines with high quality pen fills. You will be a part of the team 'Technical Support' together with 17 talented colleagues. Together, we are responsible for ensuring that the filling lines, equipment, and processes are running and functioning optimally. In the coming years the site will be delivering more and more product and for that we need your commitment and skills to optimize and stabilize our production to be among the best in the world.
